Hi Douglas. This situation just doesn't happen in the UK.

ReplyDeleteHolly: It clearly isn't, but one of the great challenges is that in politics today, it's, and I'm sorry to be trite, sound bites. No one's taken the time to explain healthcare to the American public. I believe I read somewhere that not a single Senator has read the bill, relying instead on aids who draw their own conclusions.

How challenging just rising in the morning has become to to face the world as it is today, with a self-aggrandizing Congress caring only about re-election and a President with a staff that is extraordinary when it comes to election campaigns, but almost wholly unsuited to management...and this coming from a old line liberal Democrat.
